Solar Systems

Grid Tie
This type of installation is suitable for reducing
your electricity usage during daylight hours but will not work during load shedding.

-
Requires Eskom or Municipal electricity connection.
-
No battery back up.
-
Generates energy/electricity during daylight hours.
-
Requires solar modules and a Grid Tie Inverter.
Hybrid
This type of installation is suitable for uninterrupted power supply day or night and is great for avoiding load shedding worries.

-
Will create all your power needs, Eskom or Municipal connections can be used as a backup when needed.
-
Potential for self sufficiency therefore not requiring Eskom or Municipal connections.
-
Battery back up.
-
Requires solar modules, Hybrid Inverter and batteries.
-
Generates energy/electricity using the modules during daylight hours and the batteries at night.

Off Grid
This type of installation is also suitable for uninterrupted power supply day or night and load shedding will not feature.

-
Will create all your power needs
-
No Eskom or Municipal connections are required.
-
Total self sufficiency
-
Battery back up.
-

Installation Types

Roof Mounted:
The benefit of this system is that the support structure is already in place and the modules are mounted onto an aluminium framework attached to a roof.

Ground Mounted:
This aluminium structure is fabricated and anchored on the ground using concrete blocks. This system is suitable when the pitch or orientation of the roof does not maximise the full potential of the solar system.
